Just curious as to whether you finished watching this one or heard about the ending. I agree very slow and the rape seen was disturbing but i thknk you'd be VERY suprised with the ending.

Nope I never finished watching it. I had my head burried in my dh's chest. He got up and turned it off and put it back in the envelope, sealed it and the next day it was put in the mail box.

I like stupid funny this was just stupid. I laughed at a lot of it but there was so much that was pointless. It was really long for no reason. Whole scenes could have been cut out and it would have been a much better movie.
Strange Brew is one of my favorite movies ever. When he drinks the vat of beer and puts out the fire-classic!

One movie I think to be the most borrrrrrring was from a few years ago. It was the postman with Kevin Costner. That movie would just not end!! Yet we just kept on watching it in hopes that there was some point to it. There is even a spoof of it in the Simpsons, so you know it's gotta be bad.

I think the point was to see the Tom Petty cameo towards the end-lol!

I thought "The Client" was ridiculous and the actions of Susan Saradon (an attorney) unbelievable.

Cruel Intentions, imho, was completely inappropriate for its target audience (teens). Plus the acting was cheap imitations of Dangerous Liaisons. (Don't mind so much that the plot was similar...but the actors could have at least given their characters their own personality. The guy who played Malkovich's character was especially bad...practically mimicing at every turn.

Elizabethtown. Admittedly, I've watched it a couple of times to drool over Orlando Bloom a bit:-) And I really like Kirsten Dunst. But, all & all, it was a waste of 2 hours.

I'm not a MOVIE person- i just don't care to sit still that long LOL-- not like sitting at my computer any different but i prefer this!

Thought of another one.

Monster's Ball. We 'watched' it at a friend's house one night. I put the accent on watched, because I fell asleep during it. Rude of me, I know, but if I remember right, I was pregnant at the time and could fall asleep at the drop of a hat, and that movie was just not my taste.

Lake in the Water has no story line. Pass on that one. :mad:
