They do still make them. Just ask your bank teller for some next time you're in. Usually if they have them, they want to get rid of them! (They make balancing cash a pain.)
I have some too, some even with a Santa picture on them. LOL!
LOL!! My mom works in private banking. Her bank gives out tip packs of $2 bills. They are pretty popular. They come in a sleeve and are bound/glued together like a message pad of new bills. She gets one whenever she goes on vacation or to business conferences. My kids love them, since she often gives them the leftovers on her pad.
I can totally see that happening. Many servers have never seen them before and think it is cool. When I was a server, I liked getting unusual tips. There was a guy who would often give five $1 coins for a tip and another guy who would make a $5 or $10 bill into a ring and slip it on my finger. LOL
