Old Favs: can't decide on one The addams family.the avengers,the man from uncle,gilligans island, voyage to the bottom of the sea, get smart, rat patrol, fantasy island,beverly hillbillys,the rifleman,dragnet,star-trek,the outer limits, doctor who, and of course (drumroll) Rocky and Bullwinkle.

Current favorites -- Desperate Housewives, Grey's Anatomy

All-time -- My Three Sons, Fantasy Island, Party of Five (LOVE Party of Five!!), and of course my guilty pleasure, Days of our Lives...

My Three sons was a well thought out show, and diplomacy was usually the key to plot resolutions.(cough)
Days of our Lives is of course a modern classic within that gendre.
The lighting in the daytime soap operas was always very low contrast due to the limitatons of the television cameras the networks had at that time.
Despite the technical drawbacks of that era, Days of our lives always seemed to mirror the mindsets of that time.
