every quarter they send out coupons, so say you've saved 2500 points this is £25 in coupons. the coupons can be exchanged for 'deals' and the coupons are worth 4x their value in deals vouchers so £25 becomes £100, the deals vouchers can be exchanged for things like holidays or days out.
the vouchers are valid for 2 years so thats 8 quarters you can save for.
i'm saving for a holiday. |
Very cool! I can definitely see where this system takes a 'dream' of a holiday and makes it a reality! It will be very interesting to see if Tesco comes to the US and if so, will they use a similar system.

Yep thats the way it works, only thing is you have to be clever about it, basically if you only ever got the one point per £1 you would be saving forever, but most people only shop online and use a 1000 point code if there is one available, also every now and then you will get special coupons, like 25 extra points when you spend £1 on dairy, or bread, or laundry products, some can be 100 extra points, it varies, so these can be used instore, and the online codes used for internet shopping with tesco.
currently this quarter i have managed about £200 worth, so when thats times by 4, its £800 towards a holiday!!!!!!

We get the crummy old $. You have to go in and like type 12345, while holding down the ctrl key, standing on tip toes, while holding your breath and shaking your caboose to get the cool keys. lol :mad6: |

LOL) go to pay for your holiday (vacation) | Well £200 x by 4 is £800 this is what i have saved for just this quarter so far, in the last 2 or 3 quarters i have also got just over £600 times that by 4, is approx £2400, so in total i expect to have over £3000 for a holiday, holiday costs vary to time of year, ie in or out of school term, how many people go, were you go ect.
For instance i will be taking a family of 7, possibly 8 if my oldest wants to come to, next october to the canary islands, which are classed as part of spain , self catering might possibly cost me the whole £3000, but i checked to see how much it would cost my sis in law, her husband and one child, self catering to majorca spain, in the summer school holiday, and it was approx £1200, so that means she only needs to save £300 worth of coupons for the entire cost of the holiday!!!!!!
Hope i have explained this ok, not so hot on explantions LOL
