I'm not a big rep giver either. I'd rather see my reps from people who i have helped or made laugh/happy. Not just so I can see more green boxes light up...But, if the lit green boxes float your boat, then so be it..

My opinion on these...I have no problem with them anymore then I do the sig. lines begging to be repped.
I am seriously bothered by the threads being posted on abused and tortured children and animals if anything.

When I was new on the board, I posted in one of the "rep me" threads because I wanted more green boxes. Now that I am moving up the list of reputation, I feel bad because some of mine weren't really earned. I love even pointless competition.

I hate to admit it ... but this is what I did too. :frown:
I actually pm'd cuzisaidso a couple weeks ago 'confessing' what I had done ... and asking if I could get out.
Buuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuut ... once you're in .... you're in and there's no getting out (I'm just a repping party pooper cause I don't rep back) ... which sort of makes me feel worse about the whole thing .. LOL!! :hectic1:
Oh well ... let the party continue without me ... I'm trying to work EXTRA hard to earn 'real' reps to 'unrep' the reps that I got for going to the 'party' .:hectic1:

I think the whole rep thing is a bit "high schoolish" Once they were given out just because someone ask for them or has a repping party the whole system was flawed. They are meaningless now to the true people who really go out of there way to post the deals. I am grateful to these people because I can't seem to find time to go shop let alone find deals to post on here (as you can tell by my lack of reps) In the beginning they had meaning and was a way now to give a little thank you to the deal posters, now with all the rep me, ill rep you back threads they are silly.

I really do try and help out whenever I see someone needs some info I've actually EARNED reps too !! If I knew then what I knew now I wouldn't of joined the party. :shrug7:

Maybe ... ya'll could neg rep me for awhile ... :frown: go ahead ... it won't hurt .... much ....

Just came up w/ an idea ... I could start a "party pooper reppin' party" and I could lose all my reps and start over !!

When reps first came out, I was rep-partying with the best of 'em. But it wasn't as much fun as I thought it would be.

I'm not knocking what other people choose to do as far as reps are concerned. Seriously, they're just little green (or sometimes red) boxes.

I'm just on here looking for the HOT DEALS..... It doesn't affect me one way or the other.
