What is the 1 food/brand that everyone raves about but you cant stand?

I ask this questions cause last night I made the Bar-S hot dogs. I always hear about these dogs and how good they are and how some wont eat any other brand.

I had bought 5 packages of them since they were on sale for $1.00/1 and I had coupons for (5) $1.00/1. FREE!!!!
I boiled them like I do all of the other brands of dogs we eat. And they had such a bland, nasty taste to them. Dh and ds both loaded theirs with cheese and ketchup but the dogs themselves were still flavorless.
So the other 4 packages of dogs I still have will be given to my sister for her 3 kids (1 who eats pretty much only hot dogs and mac & cheese)

So what is your food or brand that you wont ever eat or buy again?

Lipton/Knorr side dishes, particularly the noodle ones. Blech!

I don't like BarS hot dogs either. They were always the cheapest of the cheap.

I dont like those much either. If I can get them free or next to free I will get them but that is the only way. My kids will ask me why I got that kind again for they dont care for them that much either.

Sorry, but I never ate the Bar-S brand of anything. The packaging and the name just look cheap to me.
Then I read a news story about a very disturbing and tragic accident at their plant.
Now I know I will never be able to eat their brand. Never.
Don't ask what the accident was.

The only flavor of Hamburger Helper is the Asian Chicken rice one, that one is good, the rest yuk.

I just make my own hamburger helper from scratch now, much better tasting.

I know there are things that everyone says are great...and I don't like them. But I can't think of them right now!

As for the Bar-S. I've never eaten them (of course), but my family has. My husband said that they're good on the grill...but that's it! He doesn't like them boiled at all! He's an Oscar Mayer guy when it comes to hot dogs!

Actually, Kraft macaroni & cheese. It's not that I don't like it, but I don't see the difference between it and other mac and cheese. The 4/$1 cheapie stuff looks/tastes exactly the same once the box is gone. I don't understand why people are so loyal to it.

Also Mountain Dew. Yuck, yuck, yuck...1000x yuck.
