I didn't vote for him but I had high hopes for better times during his tenure.

I read that the president was a constitutional law professor @ the University of Chicago,

Sen. Obama, who has taught courses in constitutional law at the University of Chicago, has regularly referred to himself as "a constitutional law professor," most famously at a March 30, 2007, fundraiser when he said, "I was a constitutional law professor, which means unlike the current president I actually respect the Constitution." A spokesman for the Republican National Committee immediately took exception to Obama’s remarks, pointing out that Obama’s title at the University of Chicago was "senior lecturer" and not "professor."

Is signing the NDAA into law respect of the Constitution?

I think he needs more time than just these past few years to unbury the country from the state it was in... I feel sorry for whomever does, if the economy doesnt turn around here soon..no matter who is in office isnt going to be doing a good job in anyones eyes

I think people expect change in so little time in office and expect the economy to change in a flash, I think he has done a fantastic job and if we would of kept a republican in office we would be without more jobs more military personnel going to die and more in the hole. I think Bush put us in a situation where we taught if we changed president he was going to do miracles and make us rich again.

It takes time and money and effort.

He hasn't had enough time!
There is no money and will be no money for some time because everyone is so scared (especially companies) to invest and hire more people, they are scared of wasting money to improve.

Obama has put in great effort and is not scared to do it or call anyone out.

I guess some of the people on this board thought he was going to do miracles and clean up Bush's mess. And then blame him for not taking care of it. It took Bush 8 years to get us in this hole, and is going to take twice as long to get us out. I certainly don't think Palin could of done better! Do you? She was just a joke just like McCain. Did he really think he was going to win? Lol!
