Among the stuffed animal backpacks and princess dresses at a new store called “Kids N Teen” in Colorado’s Greeley Mall you can find crotchless thong panties.

Yes, you read that correctly. Crotchless thong panties in a store called “Kids N Teen.”

A local mother, Erin French, discovered the crotchless underwear on a recent shopping trip with her children.

“I was mortified, says French. “My first initial response was, ‘Am I really seeing that?’…They’re sized to fit a 7-year-old girl. That’s just totally inappropriate.”

Yes, totally inappropriate and disturbing if you ask me.

French continues, “There is one purpose for an item of that nature and that is not something we want to encourage for our girls.”

Obviously crotchless panties are meant to be used during sex. An adult product such as this should not be on the shelves at a store that caters to kids and teens.

To justify the panties, store owners have said that while their store is mostly for kids, 25% of inventory is for teenagers. That’s not helping their case. Either way, the fact remains that a product that is meant to be used during sex is not something that is appropriate to sell in a store for children or teenagers.

The store owners also defend themselves by saying that they have only been in business for two weeks and are still trying to figure out what to sell.

Well, definitely not crotchless thong underwear. (The items have since been removed from the store)
