If the memo says it starts at 1, what does that mean, exactly?

If the party was at 1:00, she should have picked it up earlier than 12:45. IMO, the food should have arrived at the party and been put on the table at 12:45.

At least they invited you and let you know....I worked in a dept. once and I was working in another dept. for two days and I come back to work day before Chrismtas and they were having a party....no one told me! I felt very uncomfortable....I had worked there for over 5 years! Guess they didn't like me and didn't want me there....I left that job a month later...I hope your next party is better!
