Here they have to in aps of some kind every 14 days to even stay on it for the 6 months..you have to trun in a card of some kind showing that you have filled out aps for what co to prove that you have.

Because they are lazy.... and there are alot of lazy people in the world I have discovered.

It could be that this person is getting overwhelmed with having to work and go to college. Maybe she just needs a break. In other countries the young person usually takes a year or two off to travel or do what they want before they go into college. Most young people here do not do that and go straight into college from high school. And many were working during high school. It can all be too much. - NOT a valid reason to try and get fired to collect unemployment.

Could be that her friends do not work and she wants more free time to be able to hang out with them. - Again NOT a valid reason to try and get fired to collect unemployment

If she is living at home it could be that she really doesn't need the job. Or it could be that she is needed at home for something. Like maybe to take care of a younger brother or sister or a parent. And working that many hours is hard on her. - AGAIN NOT a valid reason to try and get fired to collect unemployment

I'm sorry but if you don't like your job, you quit. If you need to cut your hours because it is too much, you talk to them about cutting your hours. If you can't handle full time employment and full time school you cut back on one or the other. You don't try and get fired/laid off so you can collect unemployment. Unemployment is NOT there so you can be lazy. It is there to help people who got laid off and are in between finding jobs.
