I just want to thank everyone for their thoughts about this! I thought of sending her a list of my kids wishes..especially since they have some very expensive things on it..but that would not be right at all. So I have posted on fb that they have a list and anyone wanting it can msg me otherwise I feel it is arrogant to just send it to "everyone". Since the season is giving not receiving. Anybody that has asked what they want I do tell them what is on it (not the expensive items..that's santa's job and was only my mom) and have sent to the ones that have email addresses (that asked). Which was only to my sister who already bought anyways so I don't know why she asked. But I do not expect ppl to give exactly what is on it. It is for ideas and mainly Santa.

Since her list is very specific I have decided to go to the bank and get him a savings bond..something he can use when he is older-it's not clothes nor a toy that makes noise. Since she doesn't want those items..doesn't leave much leeway. (Don't think much enjoyment for him..he loves playing with the tool toys when he visits but she cringes because of the noise He's just a kid that turned 2!) So for now on I believe this will be his gift from us!! (practical and "safe")

I got an email from my sl (not the first time either) of sites for gifts to give my nephew. I think it is really rude! If I want to give a gift fine but to actually tell me what to buy?! I have kids also I never thought of doing this..I may give ideas of what they like and sizes they wear but not specifics! My kids are happy with whatever they get..they appreciate it as a matter of a fact!! My kids are happy with handy me downs doesn't always have to be brand new name brand but for her liking it must be new and certain brands or it isn't good enough for the child. My feeling is they are just going to raise a lil brat! He's just turning 2 so I know I will get more of these. It's at all holidays not just his bday!

My ? is what are others ideas on this and what would be a "polite" way to tell her this is just darn rude!!

Well, my nephew is spoiled. He gets everything he wants. We used to use buy him what we thought he would like. Come to find out he already had it. So now we have started to give him gift certificates to the movies or something active that a parent has to take him too. He has too many video games and too many toys.

I want to gift folks, kids, whatever. I am not, however an order taker!!! I feel it's Ok to ask for general ideas, "what is little Johnny interested in these days?" Or what size, is OK. But sending a list is outrageous. I ignore those "requests."
