There is a saying that applies here "The extra mile has no traffic jams" which to me means anyone who goes above and beyond is the kind of person who believes that taking possession of a problem or situation is the person who will get the job done and not worry about getting credit for doing so.
Too many people are all too happy to point fingers and blame someone else for not doing their job when in fact, many people could do that job and just move on.
The people who refuse to do anything as simple as taking the matter into their own hands and trim back the foliage to expose the stop signs is just whining and not doing anything to improve the situation. Their "concerns" are not concerns at all, just an excuse to blame someone else and be righteous (and wrong) for doing so.
Sure, someone else IS responsible, but if it were my neighborhood, my family and friends in harms way, why would I sit on my hands and whine about it when it's easily addressed by doing it myself?
I'm so sick of people being whiners - whatever happened to being proactive and involved and doing the right thing?![]()
