I like Cottonelle best but I will get about any if the price is right..dont care for Angel Soft for even at a deal price it dont last long.
I've seen a lot of people mention they don't like a certain toilet paper for various reasons. Maybe it's too soft or rough, too thin or thick, too linty or whatever. So my question is what brand do you prefer and why?
I'm personally a Charmin or Cottonelle girl. However I did buy Scott 1000 and was surprised at how long the roll lasted, even though it was thin and you had to use more of it. I never really liked Northern or Angel Soft for some reason.

I agree, with you, Charmin is the best TP but it is also the most expensive. Cottonelle is my second choice and unlike either of you, Angel Soft is my third choice. I know it goes quick but it's so soft and I can usually get it for a really good price. I hate Marcal TP because it is thin and feels like sandpaper. I have noticed that Scott 1000 really does last a while (we are only on our second roll in 4 days!). It definitely depends on the price because I will even buy yucky Marcal if the price is low enough (would have to be .15 a roll or less since I can get Angel Soft for .25 w/o a coupon).
Charm in, it's soft n not linty.
I used to use only Charmin, before kids. It got to be to expensive. Now I use Scotts 1000. Not as soft as charmin but not too bad, and it lasts forever.
I prefer Angel Soft. Not too expensive, no lint, not too cushy or too rough, lasts long enough for DH and I, and doesn't clog my toilet.
I have tried Charmin but to me it is too expensive and makes me feel like I'm using a fluffy paper towel...just too thick. Cottonnelle and Quilted Northern again expensive and leaves me linty. I've tried the Scott 1000 and it is way too rough, and I feel like I have to use a ton since it's only single ply. Marcal is a little rough and seems to go faster than the Angel Soft.

We use Angel Soft. Mostly because it is the one I get the cheapest. I will also buy Cottenelle when Meijer has the 50% off sale and I have coupons.

We are in Central Indiana.
I'm not too picky. If I can get it at a good price, we'll use it. I don't like store brands or regular Scott...but I'll use just about anything else. Can't comment on Marcal, because I've never found it around here!
