Fajitas and omelets. It drives me crazy to pay for those (to go at food places) but sometimes I do.
Wished I could make a good chicken, beef and shrimp fajita! All my recipes don't tenderize the meat like the places sell.

As far as buying at the store, I buy bagged salad - the heads are too high to make my own plus my home grown lettuce isn't doing well.
It's the heat, I waited too long to plant them.

    ETA:
Oh and after I just made a salad from the above mentioned bagged salad - I added crumbled bacon. That is something really stupid I buy as a convenience, but real bacon crumbled isn't the same taste.

At least I buy the store brand on that.

yes I buy those things sometimes but only if I can get them cheap on slae with coupons. I wish I was one to Cook everything from start to finish but I just am not. I try to have a good fully home cooked meal with vegys and meat a few times a week tho, for I dont want my kids to grow thinking everthing come in a bag or box ready to eat.

We only have them once, maybe twice a month but I can't quite shake the shame I feel about it even though there is not a thing wrong with buying them. If you had the money you could get away with never cooking from scratch again because there are so many available now.
I, too, have been buying some of these frozen meals for DH and myself. I was just telling him the other night that after 54 years of marriage and cooking I am simply tired of trying to decide what to fix and then fixing it.

It doesn't help that he had 5 bypasses 10 years ago and that altered forever our eating habits and then this year he has had cancer treatments and been so sick. Anyway, during his treatments I tried so hard to fix something appealing and nutritious. But now, I'm simply tired out.

I did cook one of those rice/soup/chicken dishes topped with cheese last night (very simple) and some fresh squash (zuchinni). But it just sort of has to come together on its own.

You know, this question has made me think a bit. I buy a lot of stuff now that I've got the couponing going so well which I never bought before because of the expense. Not all of them are "bad" really, but we are buying more frozen food products than ever before. I even tried one of those frozen skillet meal things. It was actually pretty tasty, but I kept thinking how easy it would be to just cook some pasta, drain it, freeze it on cookie sheets, and bag it up with a little frozen veggies, butter, and roasted garlic instead.
