Would you tough it out or go home?

I'm 5 months preggo, but feeling fine.. got a great job and not much going on today besides paperwork and a staff meeting. I totally feel like going home.. to veg or sleep, or whatever!

I need to save my time for baby, but feel like a mental health day is okay too.

Yeah, I know.. I'm whining.

What do you guys do on those days?

stay at work n save your time for when u need it. do some busy work now.

Tough it out. You'll be glad you didn't use up any time later when you want to be home with baby.

Been a few years, but I worked through both my pregnancies. I know this is a late reply, and I would never make a habit of it...but I'll tell all of you a secret. When I was pregnant and didn't have a lot I had to do, I would sometimes arrange something to make it easy to look as though I had been working on my desk. Then I would get a cup of tea, tell anyone that might have any reason to come by I was making a business phone call I expected to take a bit, and head to my office. I'd put on the phone headset I used for longer calls, and I'd call my BFF and ask her to put me on hold for 20 minutes or whatever I had until my next meeting- she had great hold music. I'd lean back with my feet up listening to her hold music until she'd pop back on to tell me time to go to my meeting. Some days that was all that got me through!
