    Default Are you Brand Loyal?

I know most couponers are not very brand loyal and often times use whatever brand they can get for the lowest price. But we all have certain things that we love and will not use any other brand out there-even if it costs us more. So, fess up-what items are you brand loyal for?

    Myself-
    Puffs Plus Tissues
    Cottonelle TP
    Olay Skin Care
    Crest
    Homepride Bread
(that's all I can think of for the time being-I'm sure there is more)

DH is super brand loyal when it comes to HBA-he often times throws off my low OOP-because he will only use certain products and refuses to try anything else. Sadly, these products rarely have coupons!

I depends on what it is. I am always willing to try new things, but I do need certain things.

Like toothpaste for sensitive teeth. Hair color free of my allergens and in a dark ash blonde. Shampoo that provides volume. Dish and laundry soap in scents I love. Food that not only tastes good but doesn't have high fructose corn syrup, soy or any of our allergens in it. And I prefer organic but can't always afford it. Nail polish that doesn't chip. Still looking for that one!

I do like Diet Coke and hate Diet Pepsi. If a restaurant only has Pepsi, I might take it, hopefully with lemon to help mask the taste. But for bottled drinks I will usually opt for water unless I REALLY need the caffeine.

I am picky with panties. Although I have tried others, Victoria's Secret are the only ones that fit me.

I am also picky about cat litter and food. I don't like litter that makes the box stink or doesn't clump well. And I won't feed them food that makes them sick.

I am also picky about pasta. We need gluten free and some of it is right nasty. I usually use Tinkyada but today I bought Mrs. Leeper's corn spaghetti on clearance. It tastes okay and I save some money.

I guess I am picky with ketchup too. I like Hunts and Heinz. I have tried other brands that were not so good.

No, I'm not nearly as picky as my 2 cats. If you check the ingredients of most shampoos they look pretty much the same but the cheaper brands (before coupons) leave my hair flat so I'm a happy camper when I can buy John Frieda for a dollar. I needed 3 transactions to work the last Frieda/Target deal and got the mister to do one of them. I might let him use it if he's really nice :)

DH will basically eat or use whatever I buy (with the exception of shaving stuff cause he breaks out easily).
I am brand loyal to quite a few things (mostly food cause taste is very important to me), but not to the point that I won't use another brand if it is free...just can't pass up free. But only if it is free...not just if I have a $1/1 coupon or it is on sale cheaper...in those cases I stay brand loyal to the following:

Arnold Double Fiber or Milton's Whole Grain bread (best tasting with most fiber)
Sara Lee Raisin Bread (least cinnamon taste, most fiber)
Morningstar Farms sausages (hate regular sausage)
Eggo Nutrigrain Waffles (best tasting with most fiber)
Birdseye Frozen veggies (never had a bad tasting bag unlike other brands)
Simply Orange orange juice (best tasting for high pulp)
Aunt Jemima or Mrs. Buttersworth syrup (best tasting)
Finish Dishwasher tabs (best value for cleaning power of tabs)
Lysol Disinfectant cleaners (germaphobe here lol)
Nestle Dark Chocolate hot cocoa (all others are too sweet for me)
Van D Camps Pork N beans (can't stand campbell's pork n beans taste)
Lean Cuisine or Smart ones diet tv dinners (found something gross in healthy choice meal once)
Country Time Lemonade powder (best tasting)
Bush's canned black beans (best tasting)
Ranch Style canned black eyed peas (best tasting)
Betty Crocker Cornbread & Muffin mix (best tasting)
NY TX Toast Frozen garlic bread (best tasting)
Nature Made vitamins (good value for the assurance that they will actually dissolve)
Excedrine Migraine Pain Reliever (only migraine reliever that works for both DH and I)
    Fage greek yogurt (best tasting)
Barilla Whole grain or Ronzoni Healthy Harvest pasta (best tasting to most fiber ratio)
Trader Joe's or El Fenix salsa (best tasting)
    Classico Pasta sauce (best tasting)
Frank's Hot wing sauce (best tasting)
Hunt's Manwich sloppy joe sauce (best tasting)
Coke or Dr. Pepper (can't stand generic sodas)
Urban Decay Skyscraper Mascara & Eyebrow Box (Mascara really extends lashes and brow box lasts forever)
Taste of the Wild Dog food (only one that hasn't made my dog sick)
Greenies Dog treats (best teeth cleaning treats imo)
Trident Layers Gum (flavor lasts longest)
    Heinz ketchup (best tasting)
GAP or Banana Republic Jeans (fit my body best)
Calvin Klein Bras (most affordable/comfortable brand that makes my size)

I think that is about it...Lol!

I am not brand-loyal to many things at all. This is all I can think of for now.

    Dishwasher detergent - Cascade only
Hot dogs - one HEB makes, can't remember the name right now
    Mayo - Hellmann's only
    Mustard - French's only
Pancake mix - Bisquick or Pioneer
Seasonings - Lawry's seasoned salt and Mrs. Dash table blend (have tons of other spices but these 2 are always around)
Shortening - Crisco, have never bought another brand in my life
Soft drinks - Dr. Pepper or Mr. Pibb Extra, no diet
    Tea bags - Tetley only
Tampons - Tampax, no plastic applicators though
Toilet paper - Cottonelle, green or blue pack
Toothpaste - Aim, tastes good and it's less than $1/tube

I am VERY brand loyal to HBA. Specifically dental floss, toothpaste, lotion and deoderant. I will pretty much try any food item, especially when it is a good deal. However, I will only use the Hidden Valley Ranch packets for making home made ranch dressing. All of the others are just plain nasty IMO.

I am brand loyal to 2 things that I can think of off the top of my head:
    1. Mayo. It has to be Hellman's. My mom makes the best potato salad and this one time, it just wasn't right. We tasted, added stuff, tasted, added.......then I turned to her and asked if it was Hellman's? Nope. Makes a huge difference to us with potato salad. Mind you, that's the only time I really use mayo as I honestly don't like it on sandwiches.

    2. Ketchup. Has to be Heinz. Hunt's seem a bit to tomatoey (?) lol

Other than those 2 things, that's about it. My thinking "if it's a product we use, and we have a coupon, we'll buy it"

Honestly, the only thing I can think of is Diet Pepsi for my husband. Besides that, we'll eat or use anything we can get cheap!

    I don't have many
Friskies canned food, that's all my cat Frisky will eat, he'll literally starve himself (had to go to vet and on IV) if I offer something else
Tidy Cat litter, it's the only thing that seems to keep the smell down
    Folger's coffee, I'm addicted, I admit it
Single ply toilet paper, don't care what brand but it has to be single ply. I hate hate hate double ply, fluffy toilet paper :P

Too funny. I can't stand single ply tp. Just bought some Scott's and it's the worst thing ever.
