CHAT Weight Loss: Has anyone tried Healthy Trim?

I keep hearing about this Healthy Trim product. I am getting desperate to get this weight off of me. I had three kids in 2 years and packed on the weight. My girls first, twins then just before they turned two my son was born :faint: Anyway I clean houses, have a farm, run after kiddos and do canine rescue so I'm not stationery by any stretch but the weight is just sitting on my rear end.. So I'm curious if anyone has tried it???

    Thanks.

I have never tried this one but the reviews I read are the same for any other diet pill on the market. There is an instruction sheet that comes with it and from what I have picked up basically if you take the pills you have to cut all caffeine from your regular diet and they suggest more exercise and water. But of course if you cut all soda and sweetened drinks and drink nothing but water you end up losing some weight because everything else has calories and diet soda makes you bloat and the sodium content is high. A lot of the reviews people complain about having the jitters from taking it so it comes across that it may contain high levels of caffeine. My grandmother swore by apples, water and ice cold skim milk as the best thing to help lose weight and apples and water will make your skin look great, skim milk is supposed to help with sagging skin from weight loss. Apples are high fiber and keep you regular, water is needed and keeps you regular and skim milk has no fat so in theory I can see where it would work. I am always a little unsure about diet pills as a general rule. I do know how you feel though because I am not a sit still kind of person and I am careful about what I eat and for some reason I am stuck where I am at and have entertained adding a diet pill to my regular routine.
My family is my life even when I don't like them.

Cheryl, I went on the HCG diet (not the sublingual but the shots) and I lost 20 lbs in 1 month. I felt energetic, no fatigue.

cheryl i am with you on the weight from kids. but instead of diet pills, try just drinking water. i told a friend of mine that. she started with one glass a day, then bumped it up to one glass with meals (drink before and during as it will make you feel full quicker) ...then she was up to nothing but water and cut the soda.....she lost 50lbs in 4 months .

the key is to cut the calories. i am horrible with soda...but i know that if i cut the soda out and substituted it with water i would lose weight...
i would really suggest picking one thing a week that you can do without (ie no soda before 2pm, or no toast with breakfast, something you do everyday that has lots of calories)

and then the second week, add 20 sit ups to every morning.

the third week, pick one more thing you can do without (no bread with dinner, or change your mid-afternoon snack to fruit or nuts instead of candy)

then the 4th week, add 20 squats to your daily routine.

that way you are not making some crazy radical change that most wont keep. it is a slow process to ween you off the yucky stuff and into better stuff. and the squats will shape that "tushie"...i really need to do more

i have started walking for 1 hour every tues and thursday morning....about a 3 mile walk in my neighborhood. i feel better......next week i think i will add the sit ups to my routine except make that a daily thing...

Yeah I am a diet-coke-aholic I even bought the Zumba Dance FULL program and haven't even opened the box. I figured with cleaning houses, running after 3 kids, walking all over our 10 acres feeding our animals that would be enough but it just isn't.

You are probably right need to start small, like baby steps good plan!! Thanks.

I did the adkins thing and lost 50 lbs guess I should probably go that route again too... I loved the change in eating habits best "diet" I ever did I was never hungry and did actually lose wait. But again life got in the way but with the kids getting older life changes should be easier!!! I want to lose another 40 -45 lbs that would make me comfortable!!!

    Thanks Ladies!!!
