laundry detergent.
I know. I'm crazy!!!!
Admit it....There is one thing that you cannot stop buying even if you have a years worth. The next time it comes around on sale you find yourself saying but what if it never goes on sale again, I have used 15 of them since the last time so I should at least buy 15, I could probably fit at least 10 in there.....
Those are some of the things I tell myself when coupons are out for the .85 on 1 Viva Paper towels....And I really don't need anymore!!
What is that one thing for you and what are the things you tell yourself to justify buying more?![]()

TP, Paper towels, and lately Pantene hair care.
They had the Buy Conditioner, get Shampoo free coupon out a few months ago and now the $1 off any Pantene Product. I ordered a bunch of those coupons have a TON of Pantene Shampoo, conditioner, hair spray, etc. I love their fine hair products and most of the time the coupons are $1 off 2 products, so when I got good coupons, I went a bit wild.
I have so much TP and papertowels, it is not funny, but can't seem to stop getting them if they are at a good, cheap price. Atleast I have DH on board-he says go for it because they don't go bad. With the way people are talking about price increases for everything because of rising gas prices, I am glad I have a good stockpile going!
One thing????
OK...here's my short list. I can't pass these things up if they're free...no matter how much I have!
Laundry Detergent
Dish Washing Liquid
Fabric Softener (liquid)
Tuna (I eat 10 pouches/week!!!)
Pasta
Canned Tomatoes
Anything that's free!
I use floss as fillers even though I have tons of it.
Handsoap
Food in general, I have to get if it's pennies no matter what it is - I know someone will eat it because I buy for my family, and my mom, and brother
My justification is this: If I buy it, it will get eaten, used, or donated. We do not waste my time in this house.
Well I guess currently my downfall would be the following--
40 Gain (20 dryer sheets/20 liquid fabric softener--used the $3/off 02/13/11 RP inserts)
40 Millstone Coffee (1.75 oz.--used the $2/off 02/13/11 RP inserts)
40 Angel Soft/Sparkle Paper Products (20 Angel Soft Toliet Tissue/20 Sparkle Paper Towels--used the 2/$1 02/13/11 RP inserts)
That's all for now.

Laundry detergent and dish soap. I always justify it by saying "There's always going to be clothes and dishes to clean!". Though after the latest Purex coupons and raids of local stores... I really cannot fit anymore. The two cupboards above the washer and dryer are full..and the top of my dryer is lined up with bottles and stacks of sheets >.<
I still pick up feminine hygiene supplies even though I don't use them. I've given away so many of them and still found several large sacks full of them in a closet a few weeks ago. I don't even use the stuff, and I'm not even a real hardcore couponer.

So far with those darn carefree, i know what you mean. I rarely use panty liners, but i do have a 14 yr old that will get use out of them, plus a 12 yr old im hoping wont need them for a bit longer, and same for my 11 yr old!
However, if you find yourself over run, maybe you can contact your local highschool. I know when i was growing up my mom always yelled at me that i used too much( and thats another long story) but witht he economy and girls maturing faster and faster these days, it might be possible that some girls might not have the resources to have their own. When i was in highschool i had to go to the nurse for the free "diaper" as i called those ugly humungous things that come in a box. once a day during that time to ease the financial pain at home. Just a thought.. :)
