UUUGGGGHHHH just found out the cost of DD surgery

Wow....if it makes you feel better though, I though DS had swallowed something and we took him to the ER at 4am to get an x-ray. I just knew he had because of the way he was breathing, etc. One x-ray and a breathing treatment (which we had at home) for the croup later, our bill was $676. We were in the ER less than 2 hours!

I think I win, not that this is a good thing. :( I have no insurance. After a breast biopsy, surgery & radiation I owe the hospital almost $50,000.

Hope your daughter's surgery goes well and she has a speedy recovery.

Oh you most certainly do! I hope that your recovery continues to go well. I just was not prepared for that figure and was surprised and of course we have to have the full amount on Monday. We will do it..

Medical stuff just gets more and more expensive. Thank you for all the well wishes...
