How many men here??

I think this community has something for everyone and wondered what percentage of regular users are men. Anyone have an idea? I am just curious - it's great some men aren't too proud to take advantage of all the info and tips here.

Here's one. Been using coupons for years.Shop at Rite-Aid,CVS,Happy Harry's(Walgreen's)Superfresh and Harris Teeter.

Funny thing - never have had any coupon issues with cashiers.They are always nice,friendly and surprised that I use coupons.After awhile the regular cashiers figure out I know what I'm doing as my OOP is very low.They even tell me they tell all thier other customers about the man with coupons and the low OOP.

Once in awhile I'll goof up with an expired coupon as sometimes the coupon dates are too small to read .

Have read the posts about the horrible experiences with coupons and cashiers on this board but it has not happened to me yet.


Must be a guy thing.

not a required profile field but if folks want to let us know if they are Male or Female they can and of those that have let us know 1905 are male.

If I recall correctly according to our Analytics account it is something like 10-15% of our audience is male. Although I am too tired to go look it up right now.

I don't think saving money is a woman thing though but I understand that couponing is mostly females. But there are lots of guys that coupon and I wish we had more of them here at HCW. I think there is a different mindset and attitude when it comes to male vs. female couponers. I wonder do other male couponers get hassled less at check out. Do you guys have a manly coupon binder/box?

Interesting, Heidi. Thanks for sharing. If there are 1900 guys out there somewhere; they must be pretty quiet guys. I can only think of a handful that I have seen posting and maybe a couple who are no longer active or no longer members.

When I'm out shopping, I see many male couponers. So if they are out using coupons, it stands to reason they are here first!

the only Coupon DH here uses is his sheetz reward card for free coffee on a reg. basis
