What do the people behind you in line say?

A man behind me in line the other day at Target asked me if I had any Nature Made coupons as he was buying vitamins, lo and behold, I had some in my binder and he saved $6...we knuckled bumped and he thanked me up and down. Made me feel good and my daughter who usually complains about my coupons said, Mom your so nice to a total stranger, that's so cool! Made me all warm and fuzzy inside.

this is slightly off topic but i was the person behind yesterday. When i got into line i saw that the lady in front of me had a binder open on the child seat of the cart. I have to admit i was a little nosy about her deals so i listened extra carefully to hear her before and after couupons totals. I was surprised when she only saved a few dollars on a cart full of items. I expected to hear some massively impressive totals since she had her binder out and open and everything. I need little cards i can hand out to people with hcw address on em lol

It's usually positive, unless something goes really wrong. If it can't be resolved quickly, I just abandon the deal and maybe come back later.

I try to have it all organized for the cashier, with the "free" or Bogo ones on top, so she can watch for those items as she scans.

If I am at Walgreens, I sometimes use the cosmetics or photo counter to avoid holding up lines at the regular cash register. It's a small town.

One guy said "you should come work for me." The other day I had no idea the 2 old ladies behind me were watching me check out, so I was taken back when they came up to me and said "Wow, you did really well...way to go." I got $75 in groceries down to $33.
