Cheese POLL

I usually buy kraft(regular not 2%) or Frigo(cheese heads) but I have coupons for Sargento and its sale this week B1G1 free at kroger so a good deal but only if the cheese is good. I have never got this brand so I want to hear what you all have to say about it.

I use string and shredded the most.

Also if you have frozen cheese before is it any good? the string type, a friend of mine wants to know this so I thought I would ask for in put on this also...

I've bought Frigo in the past but the last couple of times we had it the girls said it didn't taste as good. I'd like to know about the others too.

If I could buy any cheese(with or without sale) it would be Sargento. I just really like the quality/flavor over others.

I've frozen the shredded cheese but not string cheese so I don't know how it would come out of the freezer.

I like Sargento cheese much better that the Kraft, in any form.

I like Sargento better than Kraft
so if you can find a comparable price
go for the Sargentos

I really like Sargento shredded better than any other, if I'm buying pre-packaged shredded or sliced cheese. I don't buy string cheese, because I'm the only one who eats it.

I never freeze cheese. I did it once, but didn't like the texture of it when it thawed.

Sargento for anything but cheese sticks. I just bought some this week and I don't like the taste. My favorite cheese sticks are by Crystal Valley Farms and surprisingly priced lower than other brands. I do like Frigo too.

I am not sure of the regular pice at kroger for the Sargento but I have .55 off coupons that will double then the second bag would be free so I am thinking it would be a pretty good deal...we go threw lots of cheese!

I kind of based my voting on the string cheese. Don't buy shredded very often.

I buy Frigo. It's cheaper and my kids don't complain.

I don't find they freeze well though....mozarella in general has a very sour taste after being frozen.
