Yes! It's a great place.
No! It's not appropriate for children.
I'd go with my spouse, but not kids.
I'd take teenagers, but not young children.
I too have seen women dressed like this grocery shopping...short shorts, a tank top, and even worse no bra...definitely wasn't as attractive as the one in the pic, but same type of outfit none the less.
You can also get a much bigger eyeful at the beach/pool too...
I get that statement is totally disregarding what a restaurant like that may or may not be teaching your children, but I think a teen (and I guess I should specify I wold feel comfortable with about 14-15 and older) should have morals in place that would negate that lesson.

Several of the comments on my local message board alluded to the fact that any woman who is disdainful of the server's outfits must be jealous, lacking in self-esteem, and harbor old resentment against cheerleaders from high school.I thought it very funny that ideals of modesty are now somehow grounded in jealousy and resentment.
My DH won't go to Hooters, Wing House, or similar places because scantily clad women embarrass him. We are trying to raise our boys to be the same - to have respect for women with self-esteem, self-respect, who don't have to expose themselves for money or attention (some women dress that way for free - ugh).

You miss the point, jen. It's not about showing skin. It's about being required by your employer to wear too tight clothing and fit a specific body type to serve food to people. It's about an entire restaurant concept based on objectifying women. Scantily clad women at the mall are dressing how they choose. The mall didn't require them to come shop like that. The mall isn't trying to lure in business with scantily clad shoppers.I have never been to one. I don't think I would call it a family friendly restaurant but it would not be the end of the world if my kids went to one. You can see women dressed in just as revealing clothes just shopping at the mall or anywhere else.
You can give a horse a coupon, but you can't make it save.

My DIL had both of her sons' first birthday parties there. It embarassed some members of the family, but most of us just laughed. There is a picture of each surrounded by the young women who worked there.
Those parties represent the only time I went there. The food isn't that good.
I agree with the objectifying women but at the same time they choose to work at these places because of the money.
If more women would reject the criteria and refuse to work there these places wouldn't thrive. Unfortunately I don't see that happening any time soon since women have been objectified forever.

I voted that I wouldn't take my kids there, but that's because the few times I have eaten in that restaurant, the food tasted terrible, the waitresses ignored female patrons and it is just plain expensive.
