i hate when that happens with dyes. Ive had jeans that ive washed and dye comes out! Imagine had you washed that with regular clothes and ruined alot more then just your sheets! Keep us posted on the outcome!

Yeah, that. You should always wash new clothes before wearing them. Not only because the problem of excess dye bleeding, but also because of hygiene reasons.

Victoria Secret! Shocking... I know! I have bought 100's of items from here and NEVER had a problem until now.

not really so shocking. To me Victoria's Secret has been has been going down hill for a long time. There stuff costs more than it used to and now breaks at nothing!
I remember a few years ago my friend didn't wash a pair of panties from there before she wore them. She got a real nasty rash where the elastic touched her body ( both thighs and waist) ALL THE WAY AROUND! She ended up having to go to the Dr to get rid and still had a hard time getting it healed!

Needless to say she know washes panties before she wears them.

YUCK! There are numberous reasons to wash items before using them. You can read a report here . Studies have found bacteria on including respiratory secretions, fecal germs, yeast and vaginal organisms on "new" articles of clothing. DISGUSTING.

Even though an item might be in a package doesn't make it even better as someone most likely had their grubby mitts on the items before packaging during production.

My mil Were just having this disscussion the other day about trying on stuff at stores before you purchase, Eww!! Yeah some time when she comes over I will have to show her this thread and the link sure to gross her out!! Ha ha ha but she and my step fil are big on buying her things at vs. So may be she needs to be informed!! Especailly about the panties.

Somehow I knew as soon as I read the title to the post that the pajamas were from VS. A friend of mine also had this issue (dyeing her skin with something from there) She had got it on clearance so she never said anything to them as she figured they wouldn't do anything about it since they were clearancing the items. Unfortunately she isn't home right now so I don't know how she eventually got the color out of her skin. I hope yours has cleared up some. Good Luck!
