CHAT What's the oldest thing in your freezer?

I have peaches from 6/30/1985. We had gone to a peach orchard and picked a bunch and my Grandma was helping with them. She was very sick and died a few months later. I never could bring myself to use them because it was special that she helped with them. So every time I see them I remember my Grandma and that day.

Oh gosh I'm not sure. I know there are chicken nuggets in there from 1 1/2 yrs ago. I'm seriously cleaning out the small freezer and try not to put anything back in until it's cleaned out.

I usually clean out my stuff. Im a freak about spoiled foods. there could be a 6 mth old popsicle buried in there but thats about it. I have friends whose parents have their wedding cake top in the freezer still.

ok this might gross a few of you out .. but I recently found a dead fish in a baggie

it died during the winter months and the boys put it in the freezer so they could bury it in the spring when the ground thawed. it was behind some bags of blueberries

he had been in there at least 4 or 5 years .. still in good shape too

The kids thought it was really "cool" to see the fish again and took it out back and gave it a proper burial

I truly laughed out loud at thorrocks and weekitty's stories. You were kidding, right weekitty? Weekitty??? LOL

Also should you think I haven't cleaned out my freezers in 25 years, I have - just always saved the peaches!!
