I have 3 freezers (not including the fridge one which is so tiny, it isn't even worth mentioning). Two standup, and one chest. Also, two fridges.
But then again, I'm feeding 10+, so I had extra appliances even before couponing.
Between my coupon shoppin and rgular food shopping my cabinets and freezer and deep freezer are packed to the brim! Do any of you guys own more then one deep freezer or do u just have a HUGE one! I thought mine would be alright till i realize i have no more room and still good deals to be had! At the same time its a good feeling that they are jam packed though! we dont spend near as much on reg groceries anymore since we havent had to buy toiletrees in forever or snack foods, condiments etc. Has anyone ran out of room!? whatd you do?

yeah thats understandable. It seems like the norm is to have a deep freezer. Although hubby was lookin at sears and thinks we shoulda went bigger. Ours is somewhat small. And well our freezer and fridge are side by side so i like to think there is more room. for 8 mths we had 2 extra people in our house but they left in april. so its 4 people and 4 fur children soon to be a 5th furchild. This week is cleaning items. I need t find good deals on pet food to. But ah my house just sucks for storage! I wish i had a pantry! Possibility of lookin on craigslist at freezers. because we freezer bread as well. i get it on wic as well as when i get good deals. Those take up quite a bit of space!
We got our chest freezer at Sams club on clearance. It was a return, but works just fine.
I use my garage for storage. I have a wall of freezers and fridge, then two large cabinets for storage, plus two large shelves for other stuff. My main bathroom fortunately has generous storage space, as long as I can keep the kids out of it. Then I hide stuff for dh and I specifically, or the kids will take it. But then again, I've never managed to get the kind of stockpile as I see in pictures around here. We just go thru the stuff too quickly.
We just bought a standup at Christmas. It's full now and so is the small one. The cabinets are always full...and running over on counters sometimes. I have shelving in the bedroom..full pretty much. Mac and cheese and rice is in my other closets in the other bedroom. I just stash stuff where ever and then reorganize them when I have time. My mom came over the other day and said when are you going to put up these chips, canned goods and tissues LOL. I make room and once you get enough of everything you can just buy what you need when I good deal comes along. I love having lots of stuff though so I don't have to shop every week.
I had sanity once upon a time I promise. It was just so long agoooo that I can't remember it
.
We have three deep freezers, one upright, and two small chests, plus the one up above our frig. I have two big shelves besides my kitchen cabinets for food. I feel like I run out of room all the time LOL
Raising children(especially teens) is like being pecked to death by a chicken
In my defense, I will only bid human beings in the auction forum if it's a MM.
We dont have a garage :(. its more like a carport. There is no storage in any of my bathrooms! Well under the sink upstairs but if i leave stuff in there my kids will get into it so well that has always been empty! OUr front closet in our front room has some huge metal thing in it. I guess its something with the air or whatnot im nt sure so u cant fit even shoes in there! The hall closet upstairs is skinny and has only 2 shelves. it has the things in it to add mroe shelves but we would have to get wood to do it ourselves. I think Im gnna save up mney to get a pantry put in smewhere somehow! We have an empty room currently because the kids are sharing a room. But it wont always be empty. We have an office room in our den but that room has no a/c or heat so im not sure how storage woud do in there unless it was dry foods and toilet paper basically. Yeah i need sme walk in closets and a pantry and another freezer! yepp yepp. I kinda hate having a tri level home!
I have long cabinets on either side of my fridge that is the only place we store food and then in the corner the lazy suzan. I got creative and moved a shelf we had in germany to the kitchen and all my canned goods went in there. We have another that is just cereal.
Im afraid to store items utside the kitchen if it is a kitchen item because then i may just forget i have it and it gets lost and wasted ya know.
