Wow, I was surprised to see Columbus, Oh is one. I live just outside of columbus in a nearby suburb. I never see anyone use coupons at the stores I shop.
Saw a blurb about couponing on the news a few days back that reported that my metro area-kansas city is ranked at #10 for being the most frugal city, so now i know why all the deals are sold out at cvs all the time, lol! Check out this article to see if you live in one of the 20 highest couponing hot zones, lol!

I knew Dallas would be on the list! I've seen a big increase in the number of couponers over the past couple of years. Even though it does make it hard sometimes to get some of the deals, I'm glad that more people are saving by using coupons in this economy.

Well, I do have a lot of family that lives near the KC area![]()
Raising children(especially teens) is like being pecked to death by a chicken
In my defense, I will only bid human beings in the auction forum if it's a MM.
Our sold-out-ed-ness (new word for ya) isn't due to couponers. It's one store for too many people, plus everything has to be shipped up. Sealand broke down last week (blew a motor) and had to turn around and go back to Tacoma. This is the "replacement" ship that's being used while the regular one is in dry dock. So now we're short a ship a week, so even less product. They are loading up some of it on TOTE, but it still screws us...not to mention that hubby doesn't get one of his two days week work because of it. Don't know which ship will be fixed first.
Stores here can't just "call for a truck" to bring more stock. Doesn't work that way. I've seen more couponers lately, but there still doesn't seem to be that many here.
Minneapolis is #5.
Hopefully moving from #15 to #8 soon.

I live just East of KC (Lee's Summit) and noticed today that I'm NOT the only one using coupons anymore. Just about everywhere I went, the person in front of me and behind me in line were using coupons, too. And lots of them! Never used to be that way.
I love that article, BTW! I posted it on my blog a few weeks ago. Good stuff!
I'm very near Raleigh NC. #8
Anyone up here live in Atlanta GA?
Yep, closest city to here is on the list. Indy #16. I usually shop in the far out suburbs, though. I sometimes see couponers, but not too many.
