So, the world kind of has me down right now --- and I'm in the mood to hear something nice for a change.

Here's how it will go: Reply to this thread with either:

I love HCW because it is full of some of the most caring and wonderful people I have ever known.

HCW has made it much easier for me to prepare and take advantage of deals. Being a member of this community is having a positive impact on the finances in my home and gives me motivation to keep paying down debt. <cue the cartoon birds braiding my hair>

I love HCW. I truly do.
And, I LOVE MY JOB!!!! I work in an elementary school, make no money, but I absolutely love what I do. I love the kids.

The Pine Needle got her third tooth today, and took 6 steps. She's not even 11 months old. Yikes.

I feel like I'm part of some secret subculture being in on this group . It's so much fun going into a store & knowing what the deals are before I get there...& having coupons on top of that.
I love seeing the look on the faces of the non-believers, the cashiers & the people in line behind me, when my ticket is finished & I pay less than half of my original total.

I love being able to teach my daughters these skills so that they won't struggle as much as I did before I got here. :talking3:

The HCW founders are brilliant & I just want to thank them for caring enough about us all to put this out there & allowing me to be a small part of it. The info & coupons I get here are making it possible, not only for me save money on my own every day household stuff, but also for things I might not usually buy, but that I can get for free or nearly free & donate to a charity that can use it (I got 8lbs of Purina One dog food today for $.17!! ) Or, to my church...I'm giving lots more to my church, in the nursery, to church members with needs, my girls' school & day care. The effect of what I'm getting out of this is spreading to others through me & doing more good than I was ever able to do because of restrictions financially.

I also feel like I have a whole new group of friends! I might not know you if I passed you on the street but maybe one day...who knows?

Feels good to be able to help others, doesn't it :)

That's one of the things I have taken away from becoming a member here - the ability to give to so many people, who I otherwise would not have been able to :)

I love HCW! I love the friends Ive made and those Ive yet to meet. ;)

Im super duper excited!!!! I got a freezer!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Yayayayayayayaya!!!

Ive wanted one for over 3 years and its just never been in the budget so Ive saved my $ and my GCs and prayed and hoped and I was about to give up and put the $ towards something else and I clicked on to view the freezer in my cart and I was only $79 plus tax away from having enough to pay for it!! And my auction is almost up to that so Im not gonna be in debt for it too long!!
Im soooo happy!! This will save us so much and its already made my life so much easier and Ive not even had it a week!

And I love my DS hes the best thing ever..hes always cracking me up! We watch between the lions well if you have kids and watch that show you know there is a short cartoon within it called Cliff hanger hanging from a cliff....Well DS was playing on the freezer box and he acted like he was hanging on even though he was still sitting down and he sings Im cliff hanger hanging from a cliff.... LOL hes only 2 1/2!

And more box fun DH chose not to go hunting the other morning because he wanted to play with DS in the empty freezer box when he got up. They were "camping" in it. lol

Yes my family enjoys empty boxes and I enjoy my freezer its all works out!


And one more on my cutie. He was sitting here coloring with me the other day and he said Dad wrote on the wall over there. Well it took a while for me to catch on to what he meant and I finally said ohhh your dad measures you over there on the wall thats why he wrote on the wall. You shouldnt just write on walls its not nice. He said I wrote on the wall over there too (which yep he did) and I said you did and he goes " yep SHAME ON ME!! " LOL so I call my mom and I repeat the story and of course the whole time hes saying shame on me....So I said he cracks me up. And he goes " I crack you up" lol okay you just have to hear his cute lil voice doing it but its funny!

I just feel so blessed. When Im feeling down I try to sing this Kenny chesny and Dave matthews song...

I love my family. I have such caring, supportive and loving people around me and I'm grateful everyday that I was blessed by their presence in my life.
