I guess it says it on/in the package you should carry extra pants and underwear with you. I hear it makes you go. They also the said on the news tonight that it can cause liver damage/failure.

I bought a bottle last month and used it for about a week. So can't comment on the weight loss part. But it DOES cause side effects. How it works is it prevents the fat in your diet from being absorbed, so it passes right through. Ever heard the saying "Never trust a fart!" There is also some urgency, but mainly the gas and floating p***. Left nice oil rings on the toilet. The side effects cause you to stop eating fat, that is how the weight loss comes around. Plus, it is only 10lbs over 6months on average, so not much more than a normal low fat diet and some exercise.
Thanks guys. I believe I will pass on the ALLI.
I heard it causes loose, oily farts.. so yeah..
Pharmjenn- EWWWWWW!!!

I've used Alli for the past year and think it's a good product-if you follow the directions. The side effects mentioned above usually happen if one doesn't follow the good health guidelines laid out in the instruction booklet. I think it works in 2 ways: 1-it makes you stop and think about what you're eating and how much fat and calories are in your food and 2-it helps about 25% of consumed fat pass through your system without being absorbed. The suggested grams of fat per meal is 15. The myalli.com website states "The alli program requires a commitment to healthy eating habits." I've been using alli off and on while continually being on weight watchers and have lost a little over 30 pounds. A couple of times I went overboard on fat and calories-mexican food is delicious!-and did have mild treatment effects, but I never got close to worrying so much that I thought about carrying around extra clothing. It's not for everyone, but one can be successful if a long-term change in eating habits accompanies taking alli. Hope that helps!
Oh my gosh...I am laughing so hard right now...
Yah I heard that they come with coupons for 50% off Undies and BOGO Depends.........................![]()
No way would I try Alli. Between that, a fluid pill and severve Rheumatiod Arthritis in my kness and feet, I wouldn't stand a chance of getting 2ft from the throne.
