ohhh... I've had some that were $76(2006ish, SC).... one was about $350(2001-ish , SC *haha sorry mom, good thing I had a job by then, huh?*).... depends on how fast I was going, LOL...

Feb. 2008 43 mph in a 25 mph instead of a speeding ticket I got a "Failure to use Manners" fine of $125. A high fine but does not affects pionts on your license.

My last speeding ticket was so long ago I can't remember the price...it was probably in the early 90's. I went 35 in a 25 school zone. (there weren't any kids out)
This doesnt mean I don't speed on a regular basis, but only during overcast skies, dry open roads and least traffic. And I mean I like to go about 80+, so it's got to be nice. In bad rain I'm the slow poke on the right lane driving grandma style.
That and I have car that looks like a police car.

The only ticket I have been issued was back in 1997 when I was 17. I rearended someone at a light and got a failure to control speed ticket (but really I am sure that the person in front of me had already rearended the person in front of them, but whatever). Anyway, I got pulled over once back in '03 for going 64 in a 45. But, I only got a warning then. That was the last time I've been pulled over for anything.

My 19 year old got his first (& hopefully only!) speeding ticket this past Thursday. His fine is $170. Ouch.

My ticket went to over $300...driving in the 80s on the highway (55 limit)

MA has a pretty hefty speeding ticket system - you pay $100 just for getting caught, and if you were going more than 10 MPH over the limit, it's $10 per mile over. PLUS an extra fine (I think it's $50) added onto every ticket that goes to a head injury fund.

My husband got one in a school zone going 5 miles over the 20mph limit and the fee stated on the ticket was $1200.00!!!! When he went into court it worked out to be $235.00 - but only because the officer forgot to check one of the boxes....Otherwise the judge had every right to let the fine sit right where it was!!

I got one last November for $140, going 43 in a 25.
The funny (not really) part is, I was on my way home at 1:30 in the morning from CVS doing the Black Friday deals!! I went to a 24 hr CVS in an unfamiliar area - hence why I was 'speeding', I honestly thought it was 35 there, I didn't realize it was 25. So much for getting such good deals at CVS that night!! lol.
