Got 2 since moving down So. NJ
Last one recently cop stated I was going something like 20... over the limit. I was 2 miles from house and had DH car.

I fought this one in court and ended up getting it taken off my record.. but did get it dropped down to 10 over and paid something like $250 extra to not reflect on my license and effect my insurance. I think you can buy out 2 times in 5 years. 1st time I heard of it thought a friend of DH.

Total cost was almost $400 including additional fee of $250 convenience fee... :shrug7:

336.50 or somewhere around there, for going 32 through a school crosswalk zone (was supposed to be 20)..... ALTHOUGH in all fairness, there was a guy on the side of the road waving at people, and the stupid flashing light was up on a tall poll, and the middle of going downhill. I think it was bullpoop, It was a trap I know it. But, O-well.

My brother was in California a few monthes back, Will a full load in his 18 wheeler, going uphill. His truck is goverened at 55, speed limit I think was 50, Officer said he was going 62. Odd for a LOADED SEMI that is goverened to go uphill at 62, isn't it? Hmph. He had to pay a little over 500.
He tried fighting them, but still had to pay fine, before the due date, He was still found guilty of "speeding" but even if he was let go of the ticket, they would have still kept the money.

Needless to say, My Brother HATES taking loads into California.

DH was pulled over on his way to the beach for going 76 in a 55mph zone. But he was driving a 10-year old Plymouth Voyager, pulling a U-Haul, going uphill. I used to have a Plymouth Voyager (not the same one) and I loved it to death...but seriously, cop, there's no way that beast was doing that... You couldn't have pulled that on a sports car? It would have been SO much more believable, lol!
