OMG seriously! someone took the coupons out of the paper!

How against all protocol is that?! Am I wrong to be upset? Someone took the ss out of the papers that I bought! I checked real quick and saw the rp in there and so i got them and the ss was not in any of my papers! ARGH!!!! there were some really good coupons in there! i am usually up at 530 am to go drive and get the paper but i woke up late (615) and someone had already been there so i got the last 4...well they apparently wanted some of the coupons out of the last papers but didn't want to buy them...am I wrong in thinking that is wrong? is that a normal thing to do? I just think it is so wrong! ARGH!

Sorry if I posted this in the wrong spot...I am just so upset...I totally feel cheated this am....wah...being a total cry baby lol! :frown: poor me. ok...pitty party over. it is just going to be so lame when the deals hit and i can't get them and i want/ need them. ...ok maybe i will have another pity party offline for a while......

happened to me last week. only one of my four papers had ss. today i will check before i leave the store!

Call the store / and return them. Then re- buy them somewhere else

Not that it helps, but could be the paper ran out of the SS inserts, since you said those were the last of the papers.

I have noticed the last couple of weeks that some of the coupons listed in the database are not in my coupon insert. I checked the paper at the grocery store, and they weren't in those inserts, either. Could it just be that we have different coupons in our area? Some of the coupons were really good ones!!

Different areas get different coupons, Amyjo- sorry to say that's normal. (The coupons here are so bad that I have quit even buying the paper.) When I did buy them, I always opened them up and made sure that everything was in there because you would be surprised how often the coupon inserts are missing (for whatever reason).

Not every paper gets inserts.

The inserts go into the home delivered papers first, then to newstands, and then to the boxes.

You always need to check before you buy.

We have this issue frequently. I buy the cheap paper, only $1 for the Sunday. We don't normally get the "good" coupons and normally get $/2 when there is also a $1/1 that could double, but its not too bad. I spend ten minutes easy going through five sets to check for coupons. Sometimes they have double of one and none of the other, none of both, only one, etc. And I'm pulling from the bottom of the bottom rack on a two rack stack so I know its the paper not the store. You have to check or just realize you messed up.

And not every paper get the SS and RPs together. And they can change at any minute. One of our papers gets no SS at all, only RPs. The other one gets only SSs. Another one from a different county gets both SS and RPs still. And they are vary in what cpns are offered. We used to get both SS & RPs in all papers, but no longer.

But I also don't doubt that people steal the coupon inserts. I have seen people do it at my supermarket in plain sight! So I always check mine. I'm sorry for your loss. I hope that it's b/c someone stole them this week as opposed to your paper's stop circulating them. At least next week, you'll get them :) Sorry that had to happen to you. It's happened to me before too.

Same thing happened to me last week, 3 papers= 2 ss no redplum and all 3 of the proctor and gamble. Bought them at Walgreens and when I noticed that I only had 1 of the ss I called and the manager put some back for me, only to find out that those papers didnt have but 1 ss and still no redplum. Yeah, I was ticked!
