The Official "I'm Done with My Taxes" thread

I just finished (and e-filed) ours. They were a little trickier this year than in the past, so it took longer than usual. I'm glad to be done with them, though.

Got my last W2 on Monday. E-filed with Taxact the same night, and it only took about an hour!!

Got a confirmation email that my refund will be direct deposited by Friday February 8. YAY!

I'm done! I e-filed my federal return two nights ago (free with TaxAct!), and dropped my state return in the mail today.

We're done too. We had them done last Saturday! We weren't expecting dh's w2 until yesterday but they gave them out a week early. Thank goodness for kids. We got back twice as much as we did last year. We did them at H&R block. My aunt works there and did our return so it was FREE!

no taxes to the april the 15,by that time i can be able to write them a check maybe they can take an roak of q lol

Was done last friday a week ago, looked in account this morning and refund was in there. It came so fast exactly a week.

I filed mine online through turbo tax....both state and federal have been submitted and accepted!

WOW - that's amazingly fast!

Filed mine tonight, so it would be slick if they were coming back next Friday like yours.

Still need to print and put the business taxes in the mail though, but it's nice to have personal ones done cause it's a FAT refund this year with which I'll be paying bills and using on vacation.

Im still trying to figure out how I made 4k more this year than last year when I was full time employed ALL of last year (2006) and have been unemployed at LEAST 4 months out of the year this year....(2007)
