Does someone work in taxes that can answer a question? Can you claim the amount of money that you paid last April for your state taxes on your Federal Taxes this year?
Basically we paid $2700.00 last year to the state of OR in April...Can I claim this on our taxes this year as taxes paid last year or because it is classified as 2008....Can I not claim it? Sure would be nice if I could!
good question....... according to HR block online it deducted it for me... what i paid to the IRS between payments and they took my refund last yr, IDK how much the deduction was but i know i got a deduction for it
