Need Advice

My husband is filing married with 5 exemptions. Me, and my four children. we got back almost ten thousand dollars this year. We are paying a whole lot of interest on the house, and also on our stupid timeshare.

I would rather have that money during the year to pay off some bills (trying the dave ramsey thing).

My question is: How should he be filing?

Back when we used to have jobs with withholdings, we took the minimum amount of exemptions possible. It is ridiculous to let the government borrow $10,000 from you interest free. Your goal should be to come within $500 of break-even. If your DH has a personnel department where he works, they should be able to help him with this.
