When it is Deposited??

How are you guys and gals finding out when your federal refund is going to be deposited? I filed ours the 7th and was accepted but no where do I see the date I can expect it. What is all your secrets??

I went to Internal Revenue Service. There's a link that says "Where's my refund"

There is also a time payment schedule. It shows you the date you can expect your refund to be deposited or mailed based on the time that you filed.

If you filed on the 7th you should receive your payment this Friday.
I filed mine on the 3rd and I received mine last Friday.
Based on the timeline if you filed before Feb. 5th you will receive it on the 13th and if you file after the 5th you will receive it on the 20th.

I used Turbo Tax to file mine. I have been using it for 10 years now and my refund has always been deposited on time and it has always been accepted within 24 hours. This time I filed it was accepted in the same day.

WHere do you find the schedual? I check the where my refund is but they say I need to wait 3 weeks. Plus I don't know the exact amount of refund so I wonder if that is why they can't pull it up. Do you have to have the exact amount recorded??

Yes it has to be the exact amount or it will not pull it up for you.

I used the turbo tax free file...

when I got the "irs has accepted your return" email it said in the bottom of the email when to expect the return...granted I had it direct depost so maybe that's the diference...I do know last year ( the first time I DD) it was in the bank almost two weeks before they said it should be...

in order to get the info from the irs.gov site you have to put in your ss# ,your filing status for example,married filing joint return ,single ,married filing seperate... and you need your refund amount when you put in that info it will tell you the date you should expect your deposit or check to be mailed out.btw i filed on the 8th i was told that i would get my deposit on friday 2/12 but when i checked i was told this tuesday 2/17 i am guessing because of the presidents day holiday so i guess the schedual is not right or they are running behind.hope this helps

I apologize, that is the Turbo Tax schedule of when it will be deposited.
You have to put in the amount without the change and it should come up.
Do you know if your refund was accepted?

Yes I got a thing about being accepted and the DNC #. I just don't know the exact amount we are suppose to get back so I can't put in the correct info for that. I am at work and don't have that info here.

i used turbo tax and they gave me an expected date for my deposit.
