Default Re: Current Target printable coupons (index of threads)

I usually reduce mine to landscape at 90%. My tgt doesn't even try the table scanner on the tgt ones. They scan the rest on there and set aside the tgt ones for the gun scanner at the end. Usually have to zap it a few times but they'll go though. Sometimes I think they need to override it/find an identical one in their drawer or something.

In general, yes, but there are a few exceptions. Sometimes coupons have restrictive verbiage such as "one per customer", "one per transaction", "one per household", or "one per person". You need to follow that verbiage. Sometimes a cashier will try to tell you that the words "one per purchase" mean you can only use one of the coupons per transaction. It does not. It means you can only use one coupon per item you are purchasing so your scenario of three items and three coupons would be fine. Also keep in mind that the store, either at the corporate or local level, can set whatever coupon redemption policies they want. The local store may have a policy that you can only have, say, two like coupons in your transaction even though you have the proper number of coupons and items according to the terms on the coupon.

But if she is meaning (1) 3-pack of towels, versus (3) 1-pack towels, then only one coupon can be used, right?

Yes, you are correct. I read the previous post to mean three single packs not one triple pack. A triple pack is one item so you can use only one coupon.

My Target printables never scan. The head cashier told me tonight that if it doesn't scan they won't take it. So I didn't buy it. But if it's a TARGET printable why not punch it through? They're available to anyone. You can't fake them. I sent Target an e-mail. We'll see what they say.

They should be able to type in the numbers that are under the barcode. That's all the barcode is: it's just a visual representation of the numbers, nothing more. Entering the numbers manually won't force the system to accept a fake coupon.

They might have better luck if they scan with the gun scanner.

You might have better luck printing the coupons larger or smaller, adjusting the resolution at which you're printing, or printing on a different printer.

Thanks for replying! They did use the gun. It didn't work. I have a brand new printer so I don't think that's it. I don't know how to change the resolution, but I'll look into it.

thanks!

I've read that you can also print Target coupons right from the customer service desk. If that's the case- they should surely accept them- and save you the paper and ink! Just a suggestion. Good Luck!
