"Tags" are a new feature on HCW. Anyone can tag a thread with keywords. If you click on one of the tag links at the bottom of the thread, it will take you to a list of threads that share that tag. The actual generator page won't be listed, though, because it's not a forum thread, it's a special page. There's no way to put tags on it.

Nope, not just Corn Flakes. The coupon is good for any Kellogg cereal over 10 oz.

Hi,

Newbie here. On my last 2 trips to Target, the cashier had trouble getting some of my printables to scan. On the first trip, fortunately, I had extras for Pop-Tarts that she finally got to scan after patiently trying over and over, bless her heart. On the second trip, no luck for the Tyson 20 oz printables. I think one may have worked, but not all of them. Anyone else have that problem? I'm printing at home using the "normal quality" setting. I might try to print at the store next time. I didn't know you could do that. How cool!

Last week I printed 5 of one cpn on one sheet of paper. The cashier had problems with them scanning. She had no problems scanning a page that had 4 of the same cpns that were a bit larger in size than the ones I printed 5 to a page. Maybe size is a factor?? Both were grayscale and economy print quality.

I usually don't have problems with the coupons when printed 6 to a page in landscape format. When the cashier does have trouble, it usually helps to use the gun scanner rather than the table scanner. My theory on this is that when they use the gun scanner 1) The laser is pointed exactly at the barcode rather than the barcode being waved generally in the direction of the table scanner and 2) The coupon is held or laid out flat so the scanner gets a good "look".

Yes, changing the size may help. On the one hand, a smaller barcode can be easier to scan because the laser is only trying to "see" a small area of the coupon at one time. On the other hand, when you print smaller, you can lose some resolution, especially with ink jet type printers.

Hi Again,

Both of the times that the coupons didn't scan, the cashiers were using a gun scanner. They never attempted the table scanner. I wonder if that store has stopped using it (Colerain in Cincinnati). I don't recall seeing a table scanner.

As far as printing, I just printed as HCW had it set up. I didn't kow I could change the settings so maybe I'll experiment with that.
