I have yet to hit Target this year to see what is left. What is everyone finding and what coupons are you using?

I know some of the usuals.

Last year I was able to get nice quality table cloths in red & white & facecloth 8pks in holiday colors. These were NOT with the holiday markdown items but showed the discount when scanned.

Went this afternoon--pretty cleared out at 50%. There was a lot of candy left. I am waiting for the candy to go cheaper tho. Found Duncan Hines cake mixes (w/red and green specks in them) for .67 ea, didn't have any qs that matched up but bought them anyway.

Dollar spot yellow dot items were 50% off-quite a bit left there.
I plan on returning on Thurs to see if any toys go 50%. Most of the toy clearance was at 15%, but they'll prob go 30%....just wishful thinking. :)

I bought some holiday Kleenex and Bounty two-pack paper towels. There are .25/1 bounty Qs from P&G December, and several Kleenex Qs out there. In the December All You there's a .50/1 on oval Kleenex. Use this on one box of holiday Kleenex to make it under $1.

WEnt yesterday, total madhouse at 50 percent off for most items. I was there for holiday wrapping, cards, etc. But I did kind of do a quick drive by on other items... pet gifts were 50 percent off with quite a few left. Lots and lots of gift bags left for some reason. Saw some Air Wick type holiday scented candles and such and some Ziploc containers that were holiday themed (should've grabbed some of those!!). Also saw some holiday baking mixes, Pepperidge Farm holiday themed cookies and candy still at 30 percent. From the looks of things, my store may not even need to go to 70 percent. People were swooping up things like crazy. There were barely any cards left!!!

Already regretting not buying a few things, so planning to stop at a different store on my way home from work tonight. Will report back on my findings.

Reporting. Second Target was better stocked than the first, though not on all the same items. I saw some food items (baking mixes, holiday cookie decorating items, and the small individual stocking stuffer type candy items) at 50 percent. Other larger candy items still atl 30 percent. Slightly better selection of cards at this store, though they were going quickly. They also seemed to have more ornaments and things left. But they had fewer pet items and not as many household items. I guess it really is a crapshoot this year. Good luck everyone!!

Went yesterday and found much more stock than I anticipated. They were pretty wiped out of wrapping stuff, but I wasn't looking for or needing that anyway. Some of my best finds:

Flannel Sheet Sets, not marked on clearance, found on an end cap with regular flannel sheets, but have RED packaging, come in some winter designs, and solids (gray, white and red) were 50% off, 14.99 for a queen set!

Starbucks Christmas Blend coffee, also on an end cap and NOT marked 50% off but scanned at 4.xx. There are also still $1/1 and $3/2 coupons plus a MIR.

Lots of cute stuff 50% off in the Dollar Spot but it was a DISASTER.

Some good baking items that there are Q's for, Betty Crocker Snickerdoodle cookie pouches were ringing up 80 some cents. Pillsbury peppermint frosting was 1.24.

I didn't buy them, but there are packages of Vanity Fair white napkins, I think they say "dessert napkins", and were located in the regular aisle, not holiday at all, and they were ringing up 50%, I think I overheard they were ringing 1.49.

I'm thinking they will HAVE to do a further reduction to get rid of stock. They had A LOT left.

Did another run-though today. Very disappointing in the X-Mas area. No plastic-ware, no paper products (tissues, paper towels), no cookies/crackers...looks like the only things left were wrapping paper, cards, tape and the candy--still at 30%. I walked the WHOLE store looking for anything X-Mas in the aisles--X-Mas hand soap, coffee mug sets, ANYTHING! Nothing to be found--it probably has to do with there is only 1 Target in the area...

some good finds. I am going to try to pop into my target today. Hopefully I find some good things left. Theres not anything I am specifically needing, so I wasnt in a rush. hopefully the waiting pays off & I see bigger discounts. yep wishful thinking for me too

Well...My target is pretty cleaned out at 50% too, but I am in the process of changing my colors on my Christmas tree for next year. I think I am going to go a bit retro with the greens/reds and instead of the vibrant colors, they are going to be muted. Found some really cute ornaments that look like lollipops 50% off and a couple of candy canes and one snowman ornament, plus some felt Christmas tree ornaments in red/green and white in the same colors. I may hit up another Target (a super) in the area to see what they have!

As the economy is where it is, a TON of people are buying at 50% and not leaving stuff to hit 70-75% off. I noticed it last year but I notice it MORE this year.

I won't go to Target again until Saturday(possibly) to even see if it has hit the 70/75% off.
