Anyone know if Target's price match policy applies to Black Friday deals at competitors?

    Price Match
Target’s Price Matchis simple and helps guests save time and money. If guests find a lower price on an identical item advertised locally by a competitor, Target will match that price during the effective date of the competitor’s advertisement. Guests can bring their receipt and the competitor’s current printed advertisement within seven days of purchase and Target will reimburse the savings. The policy is enforced in all stores throughout the year.

Generally, at least around here, Target will not PM BF deals

That's too bad. Wal-Mart does. Thought that bit about "enforced all year" would make a case for PM BF deals

I don't see why they wouldn't. I've had the Price adjustment done to Black Friday price for something purchased the week prior. This is only the second year for their price match policy, and I know last year that not all Target's had implemented it at Black Friday, so that could have been some people's issues.

"MINNEAPOLIS (OCT. 28, 2011) — To provide shoppers with a jumpstart on unbeatable Black Friday deals, Target stores will open at midnight—earlier than ever—on Friday, Nov. 25. Extended store hours, along with Target’s Price Match and REDcard Rewards, will have shoppers feeling merry and bright."

Clicked on the link in the op and saw this. This leads me to believe that they will be accepting PM's, but I would contact your local Target just to make sure.

Does anyone know how Target handles their Doorbuster items? Is it just a free for all to see who can get in the door and grab the items first or is there a ticket system? I've done WalMart for the last few years, but have my eye on the 46" TV at Target this year. Thanks!

They have everybody line up outside in order that you arrive, and when they open the doors you go in and hope you get it first. It can be a mad rush for the really hot items. That is how it worked when I worked for them, and that was how it appeared to still go last year when my MIL and I went to get a few things for the kids.

BF ad scan says to get a store map online @ Targetdotcom slash blackfridaymaps

Had to type out the web addie-- tried it as a link, but it was somehow autofilled to something that didn't work

Don't know about Target, but Wal-Mart did this last year. They locate door buster items in strange places....TV's in frozen foods, etc. Seriously.
