What was everyones Halloween clearance ?

I went yesterday hoping to find candy clearanced at 50%. I always buy the clearanced candy and use it for stockings and at our house Santa leaves trays with nuts, apples , oranges, and candy.

I was very disappointed to find it was only 30% off. Just wondering if it was that way everywhere else also? I had some coupons so I went ahead and got a few bags.

I probably won't get a chance to go back. I live an hour away from T. and was combining that trip with the Kmart doubles and some other shopping I needed to do.

I didn't even check because their prices were a little high for me this year, and anything that I would have wanted, at 50% off would have still been more than at Menards.

I had physical therapy appt and totally forgot!!! I will have to go check out Walmart in a bit.
I have noticed that anymore the 1st day after holiday is only 20-30% off then next day or so the amount goes up.

In our area, Target started not clearancing their candy out after the holidays as much as decor and other items. At the Waukesha WI stores, candy was 30% off and other items 50% as of 11-2.

Here in PA it was 30% off candy and 50% off costumes and everything else Halloween. I won't buy at those discounts. I agree that the candy prices were high this year. But, I've noticed that on a lot of other products too!

(sidebar) While there, I was matching up the Target toy IP Qs to the toy prices--YIKES! Either prices have been going up on toys too or they are just putting out qs for higher priced toys!

11-3--Waukesha WI store candy now at 50%, other items 70% off. LOTS of costume items left, not much decor.
