QUESTION So Is This Target Deal "Legal"?

Okay, so I was going through my coupon box today and noticed my BOGO & .75 MQs on Degree deodorant. I also have 1 $1 TQ's for Degree. My thought/question: Is it "legal" to buy a twin pack with the BOGO?

My logic says yes because the BOGO MQ states "up to 4.99/6.99 (can't remember which) value" and I've never seen 1 stick of that deodorant be even close to $4.99/6.99.
Keep in mind, the twin pack was $4.24. Therefore I assume that so long as it doesn't go over the specified "up to value", everything is okay, as the store will get reimbursed for the full amount.

How I think this transaction should work out:

    $4.24 x 2 packs= $8.48 - $1 TQ = $7.48 - $4.24 BOGO MQ = $3.24 - $.75 MQ = $2.49 for 4 or .62 per stick final price

That would be an awesome deal in my opinion IF it is using MQs "legally"-- I'll take .62 name brand deodorant (almost as good as free)! Thoughts?

Consider couponing for your local shelter: $30.00 OOP has gotten them 41 body washes, 30 deodorants, and a whole lot of toothpaste and toothbrushes to date!

If the BOGO doesn't specifically exclude double packs then it should be ok to use on a double pack, it may be a YMMV at the store though.

Yes, I think that is fine....I have used BOGOs on double or bonus packs before..... And I love the coupon combos that you get to do at target! This sounds like a good thing. Also, I have gone to the register at target before and said to the cashier "If you could ring these up first and then scan the coupons, just to see if it all works out, I'd appreciate it, because I'm not going to buy these without the coupons....and I really don't mind at all going to put them back." So far everyone has been cooperative at target with me.

    great job on the deal!

There were Old Spice body wash double packs on clearance at Target that I used a BYGO coupon on. I also used a $ off coupon with it and it was fine.

Target's OFFICIAL coupon policy is 1 Target coupon per transaction...the wording on the Internet Coupons says "ONE PER TRANSACTION". We have asked that you NOT discuss the use of multiples of the same target coupon in one transaction on this forum because it goes against Target's official policy.

    Target FAQ

Q: Is there a limit to how many coupons I can use in one transaction?

First, read and abide by all restrictions printed on the coupon. Most of the Target coupons say, "Limit one item or offer per coupon". This just means you need a separate coupon for each item. Sometimes the coupon will be more restrictive, however, and say, "Limit one per transaction" or "Limit one per customer". Second, consult with your store's customer service folks. While there is no corporate mandated limit, some individual stores impose limits on the number of coupons, especially printables, you can use per day.
Sadly, the terms and conditions have changed on the Target printables. The coupons that just came out today say, "limit one offer per transaction." Please use them accordingly.
We do not allow any discussion on HCW of using these coupons counter to the restrictions printed on them. Even if the cashier or manager tells you that you can use more than one per transaction at their store, please do not discuss it on HCW.

My Target told me that they DO stack coupons. I have never had a problem doing that. I used the BOGO degree q's on the 4-pack ladies and 3-pack mens that were on clearance for $4.24 each. Didn't have the target q's but still got 8 of ladies and 6 of mens for $4.24. I was happy with that. When I found the Target q's and went back, of course they were all gone! Rats!
    This site is awesome!

It sounds like it but my target won't take more than one of the same trgt coupon per transaction. I found this out last week while buying sunscreen. I had to pay an extra 1.00 but the peelie coupon I found for a free Coffee creamer made up for it. Thanks to whoever left that cpn for someone to find in the creamer section.
