Toy Clearance 2011 -Approximately 7/28/2011

When is the next Target Toy Clearance? I was thinking May, but maybe later? I missed the one in January with sick kiddo's...just thought I would check in here! Thanks

The big Toy clearance is usually the last week of July, they are marking a lot of stuff down right now at my Target in the Toy Department, so I would still be watching for some good deals before the big one.

Yes I noticed they are already doing some mark downs. I got Dominic a Discovery view finder for 3.74 I think. The one that talks to them. I see a bunch of things at 30% right now. Last year the 75% went the last Wednesday or Thursday in July. Some stores in my area went Wed. but most went on Thursday.

Ive also seen some markdowns, mostly 30% but I took notice of the Geotrax remote controle lightning Mcqueen and Mater, which were marked at 50% off (12.49)

Has anyone been watching the Cars toys???? I'm wondering if they've gone 75% yet...my store had them at 50% a couple of weeks ago and I was hoping to get them at 75% for DS b-day next monday.

Do you guys usually stock up for Christmas? Our baby is due in October and I was thinking we could save a bunch of money by buying our nephew and 2 nieces their Christmas presents early while they are on sale. Since we'll be busy with a 1-2month old at that time, LOL.

Last year at the July Clearance, I bought most of the toys for my DD and DS. It made for saving a LOT of money at Christmas time. I always buy ahead and try to have Christmas/Birthday presents in the closet. It never fails that we will buy other stuff closer to the holiday as well, but the majority of what we get is at these Toy Clearances.
