My First Trip

I have a lady at work who swears using cupons. Being a guy and growing up in a family that never used them, I thought right!!!!!

Then I started watching that Extreme Couponing show and it hitme that you can really save some money on a majority of your things that you may use.

Then I got motivated!!!

So today was my first trip and I have just fell in love with target and their Target coupons that I can stack with my regular coupons.

Here is my trip today:

10 - 5ct Allegra boxes - $7.14 each
10 - Degree Deo - $1.97

I used 10- $5 manufacture coupons with 10- $2 Target Coupon
I used 10- $1 Manufacture coupons with 10- $1 Target Coupons.

I paid $1.56 after tax and saved $90.00.

I felt so proud of myself when the female cashier said "WOW, that is a savings, how did you get these?", then she said "You don't see many guys using coupons."

After that I realized that this can really work to my advantage in creating my own little stockpile for my family and assist me in creating one for a single mom that we are friends with.

Now if I could only find a deal on Gillette Deo at a store for my body wash coupons!! lol

I had my first shopping trip today too. I didn't do so well at target but I did awesome at walgreens. I still have so much to learn.

alot of drug stores have sales on gillette often. Just gotta jump in and learn the drugstores and their extra care bucks, up rewards and register rewards. Once you get the hang of rolling their reward bucks you can save over 60% at drug stores on your toiletree items! I dont know if there is a current sale anywhere on the gillette since i have a stockpile on both . BUt ive seen it on sale quite often at the drug stores.
