DD3 Target clearance - baby stuff

I went back to Target again today (I have been every day this week) and saw some great deals. They had all kinds of baby gear on clearance. About 10 different models of car seats, which I am going back to get one on Friday. They also had a Graco high chair for 50 and a FP one for 55.

I cant wait to go back. I am going to get a new car seat and a high chair for 70 cheaper than I was going to pay for just the car seat.

I didnt think I would need a new car seat yet, but I have a piggy boy. Last week he was 18-10 and is not yet 5 months old. He is also 26 1/2 inches long. My infant seat only goes to 22 lbs. He ganied 13 oz last week and a lb the week before at our weekly moms group. So this is perfect timing for me.

They also had some nice FP toys on clearance, little people etc. I will stock up on those too!

Heather

Thanks OP.
DS #2 was already 16lbs at his 4mo checkup. The limit on my infant seat is only 20lbs, so he's going to grow out of it quick!

Hey ladies, Just a "heads up" the height is more important than the weight in infant style bucket seats. If baby's head is higher than the seat, or part sticks up from it, baby is most likely to tall.

BTW, I'm not trying to be the car seat police or anything, I didn't know any of that till I had my second child...I always went by weight limits only. #2 was 24 inches long at birth, by the time he was 2 months old, he was too tall, and the car seat didn't provide any head protection.

have a great day, and thanks for the info ion the sale!

Well my not so little guy is almost 5 months old, and was 18-10 last week at my Moms group. At his 4 month ck up he was 26 1/2 in long. My Graco only goes to 22 lbs, and with how my baby is gaining he will be to big in a few weeks. he gained 13 oz last week and a whole lb the week before!

Thankfully the new one I am looking at is a convertable, and still does rear facing up to 35 lbs! Hopefully he wont outgrow it.

He is going to outgrow his swing and bouncy seat too!
