please, help me stack! ... overage possible?

So, I am trying to figure out how to do this and need your know-how :)

I have 4 Manufacturer Qs for $1.50 off of Lysol wipes and I also have 2 Target Qs for $0.75 off of Lysol wipes ... and I also have a $1/2 MQ on wipes to use

If I stack the two Target Qs with MQs, do I get an overage back? or do they just adjust the price to 0? ... how do they know to adjust it? Would the computer tell them we're getting too low on the item?

The price of those I'm looking at is right now $1.89 so if no overage can be given, I am either looking at

1. getting 4 Lysol wipes of which 2 would be free and 2 for $.39 (and wouldn't use the $1/2 Q at all) ... in which case I'd be paying about $.20 per item

2. getting 6 Lysol wipes of which 4 would be $.39 each (after using the $1.5 off coupons) and 2 would be $0.64 each (using the Target and the remaining MQ)... or combined about $.46/item

am I looking at it right? Which would you go with? I'm leaning towards the 6 items scenario ... less then $.50 each is still a great bargain, right? especially given I only started using coupons couple weeks ago!

but how is it with the adjustment if the value of the coupons is more than the price?

I get overage by handing over my MQs first, and then the TQs.

You have a few options:

3.78 2 lysol wipes
-3.00 (1.50x2) manf q's
-1.50 (0.75x2) target q's
=0.72 overage (i'm not sure if target allows overage or not, so I would suggest buying 4)

7.56 4 lysol wipes
-6.00 (1.50x4) manf q's
-1.50 (0.75x2) target q's
=0.06 for 4 cans

or
11.34 6 lysol wipes
-6.00 (1.50x4) manf q's
-1.00 (1/2) manf q
-1.50 (0.75x2) target q's
=2.84 for 6 cans $0.47 each

so buying 4 is your best deal, but still 47 cents a can isnt bad.

I don't know of an official policy on overage at Target but if they do give it, it is best to purchase something to eat up the overage as most stores don't like to give it back to you in cash.

As far as I know, Target does not give cash back on overage. Any overage I get goes toward the rest of my order.

any overage will apply to the rest of your purchase. I give manuf q's first, then Target coupon. But, Targets receipts are weird, and sometimes the coupon will not come off at the end, but it will show up on your receipt like this --

Lysol - $1.14
Coupon .75 off $1.89
Mfr Coupon $1.50
