You are right to question this oversight because one day a new cashier won't take your coupons and we know what a hassle that can be!
This has happening a lot, but I didn't bother posting about it because the cashier has pushed them all fine. I just don't like how they're not fixing this problem. Is anyone experiencing this problem? I gave the cashier about 10 coupons or so and every SINGLE one of them states "item for coupon is not here". I'm just kind of frustrated right now, because I am not trying to cheat Target or anything like that.
done with this couponing stuff. it's getting in the way of everything. see you in a while, Germany.

Yes, it's happened to me a lot too. Is there any way to make Target aware that they should do something about it? The people that program their register software should be fired. People are going to get away with fraud just because the cashiers are so used to having to push the button when it's a valid use for the coupon.

I also experience this problem on a regular basis...and most cashiers DON'T know how to get the register to accept the coupon for the correct amount.
As a result, the customers (and me), need to wait while the cashier calls for help...BUT when has customer service for coupon users been a priority for Target.
I had this problem yesterday. I think it is because of that stupid $10 coupon glitch that the computers have. The registers for some reason think that you have already used $10 in Qs and that's why it won't accept Qs unless you are buying an additional 10 dollars worth of stuff without coupons. I think it is ridiculous and should be a simple software change. It makes me think that Target is deliberately cheating people out of money. I wonder how many people don't pay that close of attention.

Oh, did want to add, that my cashiers have been great and the one yesterday had to put my Qs in as store discounts. But, at first she pulled the "it says one per purchase". I said yep and that is how many I am purchasing. I was using the 3/3 Glade Winter Collection had 3 of those Qs and 1 on the candle, and then 3 1/1 on the Swiss Miss. It took the Swiss Miss ones okay and the 1/1 candle , but then when she scanned the first 3/3 it only took off .97 and didn't want to take the other two at all. First it said item not found, then it said exceeds coupon limit. But, she finally just pushed them through for me, but I am getting tired of having to deal with that every single time.

I had this happen one time with a new cashier...the manager came over and realized she was in the "store coupon" screen and not the manu coupon screen, once she was in the right screen...they worked fine.
If it isn't free.....it isn't for me!
