Target receipt - savings & coupons?

Hoping someone might know. I'm tracking my savings in a spreadsheet and can't figure out Target's receipt. Very confusing since they don't tell you the amount you save on a particular item.

My question is this - are my MFR & store coupons a part of the "YOU SAVED $X", or is the "YOU SAVED $X" just the sale savings?

With all of this technology, you'd think Target could make an easier to understand receipt!

I agree, they are hard to decipher!

I just looked over a receipt:
Total saved is 9.73. 8.35 is what I used in Target & Manf q's. 3 items purchased were on sale, so 9.73 - 8.35 = 1.38 is the store savings. So the total saved includes the sale price & coupons used. HTH!

Oh bummer. LOL Was hoping coupons would be on top of that. Just seems like such a small amount without, kwim? I suppose I should remember that, at the very least, Target's prices tend to be lower than a grocery store to begin with.
