Free 5-star poly folders at Target.

Sorry if this is posted somewhere, but I wanted to share. Target has the 5-star poly folders for $.50 each, using the $1/2 Mead 5-star items, you can get 2 for free. The coupon excludes academic year planning products but I didn't see any other exclusions.

The coupons is ringing up $.50/2 instead of $1/2.

That will happen at any of the Targets with the 'upgraded' cash registers. When its a $/2 or more then it won't take off more than the price of one item. The registers are just screwed up.

I would guess that they do. I don't even actually have a Target (it's 50 miles away, but I'm in a rural area so the circular still comes in one of my papers). Anyway, I could price match at Meijer or Walmart so I browse the Target add and this caught my eye. Weird that the coupon scans that way though, can they enter it manually? It clearly states $1/2.

My coupons scanned as $.50/2 so I went to the CS desk and they gave me cash for the difference. I won't be using the rest of my coupons there. Since I'll be hitting up Walmart, I'll try there.

I just noticed that with the 5 Star Q and a few other coupons I have used in the past week or so~I am peeved that Target for commiting fraud like this on us consumers! I will be calling corporate since I left the store before looking at my receipt. It did the same thing last week when I used the buy 5 get $1.00 off for Banquet meals. Why do we get such a hard time for using coupons only for their registers to be "jacking" us around in the end. Target will turn around and turn that coupon in for the full amount $$ plus handling back to the company, so essentially Target is making money while defrauding us coupon consumers!
