Thumbs Down WARNING if doing the Schick Quattro or Hydro Deals

What a nightmare. The new "smart" computers are just plain DUMB!

    I purchased (among other stuff):

    4 Schick Hydro Razors @ $6.99
4 Schick Quattro Titanium Mens disposable razors @ $5.49
2 Schick Quattro Womens disposable razors @ $5.49

    I used:
    4 Shick Hydro MQ @ $5
4 Schick Hydro TQ (does not say Limit 1 per transaction) @ $4 (knew it would adjust down)
    4 Schick Quattro Titanium MQ @ $4
    2 Schick Quattro Womens disp @ $4

Okay, so the $4 Quattro titaniums attached to the Hydros, the 2 $4 Womens Quattros one scanned at $1 and the other at $0 (so I had her void the coupons) & the TQ adjusted to $2.99 instead of $1.99.

No one could figure out how to fix the issue. I was overcharged $29 (5 X $5 + 2 x $4 - 4 x $1 (the TQ overdeduct)). I am going back every day until my fave CS person is there.

Apparantly, in addition to attaching to incorrect items, whenever there's a gift card deal, the coupons are scanning UP TO the amount of the items LESS the gift card.

If doing any of the Schick deals, I highly suggest doing them individually and not multiples in the same transaction. Also, don't buy anything perishable (ie: ice cream) because it will MELT before anyone figures out how to correct the issue.

Their registers have "always" attached to incorrect items. I've seen it for quite a while now. It's when you buy items from the same vendor/company i.e. 6 different Kraft items. The coupons will attach themselves willynilly to whatever Kraft item it feels like, even though it's not the "correct" one. Then it makes others beep. *rolls eyes*

For the most part, my store is coupon friendly (although I do run into the un-educated sometimes), so it's usually not a problem for me. It might work better if you hand the coupon with each item as it's scanned. Then it has no choice but to attach to the right item. Also might be easier to fix right at that point.

I also had some coupons that scanned at an arbitrary amount, rather than the $1/1 or whatever the amount was. Can't recall exactly what item(s) it was now, but even the CSM thought that was rather weird. We got it fixed, but yes, whoever programmed their registers has done a real bangup job. *snorts*

Management at my store suggested calling the corporate number every time I have an issue with a coupon. They ended up having to put in my manuf. coupons as Target coupons to get the amount to scan in right. Completely ridiculous.

I called corp this morning and worked with a nice person there. Explained everything (and she actually followed what I was saying). She told me to write it all down on a copy of the receipt, circle what was misapplies, show my calculations & go back to the store. The CS person looked at my paper, said "we're not going through all this rigamarow (sp?)" and pulled out a Target Quick Adjustment form & filled in the amount for $29 + $1 for tax & trouble. Apparantly it works like a gift card, although it is in paper format.

That is what happened to me, too. I don't care how they have to trick the register into deducting the correct amount so that my total is correct, but if they enter it as a TQ and not a MQ, will they still be reimbursed for the coupons?
